Construction and Remodeling Coverage Across Utah
Roy-Based Construction and Remodeling · Davis, Weber, and Salt Lake Counties Priority
Cornerstone Custom Construction & Remodeling is based in Roy, Utah. Davis, Weber, and Salt Lake counties are the three primary service areas. Projects elsewhere in Utah are considered — but not guaranteed — when the scope, price, travel, schedule, and site conditions support a practical fit.

How Statewide Coverage Works
Utah is not a blanket service area. Here is what the coverage model actually looks like:
Primary counties — Davis, Weber, and Salt Lake. These are the three counties where we actively schedule work. Projects here receive priority for travel, availability, and estimate turnaround. Roy is the home base, so the closer a project is to that anchor, the simpler the logistics.
Other Utah locations — conditional. We will consider projects outside the three primary counties when the combination of scope, price, travel distance, schedule alignment, and site access justifies the commitment. Not every inquiry outside the primary area leads to an estimate — some projects are too small for the travel, some require a timeline we cannot meet from Roy, and some need a contractor with a closer home base.
What "conditional" means in practice. If you are outside Davis, Weber, or Salt Lake County, send the project details. We will tell you honestly whether the economics work. If they do not, we will say so upfront rather than stretch into a project that does not fit.
Project Types Evaluated Across Utah
These are the same project paths we evaluate in our primary counties. For Utah locations outside those counties, the scope needs to justify the additional travel and coordination.
New homes and custom builds. Ground-up residential construction for homeowners and investors. Send the parcel location, plan status, approximate size, finish level, and requested construction role.
Multifamily construction. Apartment buildings, townhome complexes, and multi-unit residential projects. Include the building type, unit count, plan readiness, and permitting stage.
Commercial construction. New commercial buildings, retail spaces, office structures, and industrial facilities. Include the building type, intended use, approximate size, and plan status.
Framing. Framing-only scopes for builders and general contractors. Send the plans, building type, approximate size, material assumptions, and the downstream schedule the framing needs to fit.
Tenant improvements. Build-outs, renovations, and finish work within existing commercial spaces. Include the suite or space details, intended use, demolition needs, finish level, and occupancy constraints.
Residential remodeling. Kitchens, bathrooms, basements, whole-home renovations, and room-specific updates. List the rooms or systems involved, finish level, occupancy needs, and whether phasing is an option.
Exterior and structural work. Roofing, siding, decks, fences, concrete, masonry, foundation, and related exterior or structural scopes. Describe the property type, scope, and site access.
What to Include When You Reach Out
For projects outside the three primary counties, the first message matters more — we need enough detail to evaluate whether the travel and coordination make sense before scheduling a site conversation.
Location. City, county, or ZIP code. Exact address if you are comfortable sharing it.
Property and building type. Residential, commercial, multifamily, or investment. New construction or existing structure.
Requested scope. What work needs to happen and what role you need Cornerstone to fill — full coordination, framing only, a specific trade scope, or something else.
Plans and documentation. Blueprints, engineering, drawings, measurements, photos, or finish specifications already available. More documentation upfront means a faster evaluation.
Site conditions. Access constraints, occupancy status, demolition needs, utility considerations, and anything that affects scheduling or sequencing.
Timing. Target start date, completion deadline, or phasing preferences.
Budget context. A working range or budget framework helps us determine whether the project economics support the travel. This is not a commitment — it is a planning input.
Primary County Pages
These three counties are the core service area. Each page covers the specific project types, intake details, and geographic context for that county.
- Davis County, Utah — Cornerstone's home county. Roy is the base of operations. Closest proximity to the home base means the simplest scheduling and travel.
- Weber County, Utah — Adjacent to Davis County and the Roy home base. Ogden, North Ogden, South Ogden, and surrounding communities.
- Salt Lake County, Utah — The southernmost primary county. Salt Lake City, West Valley City, Sandy, and surrounding communities. Travel from Roy is longer, so project scope and economics carry more weight.
For projects outside these three counties, this statewide page is the starting point. Send the project details and we will confirm whether the fit works.
Experience, Classification, and Proof
15+ years in business. Cornerstone has more than 15 years of construction and remodeling experience across residential, commercial, and multifamily project types.
S220 Carpentry Contractor and Handyman. That is the confirmed classification. Builder-facing and broader construction work describes our project experience — it is not the S220 license classification.
Current-work proof. The Cornerstone Facebook page is the primary source for current project updates and activity. Posts reflect work in progress, not a curated portfolio or independent review.
